A song about paradise. If I ever saw anyone else from Fresno there, I would have to kill them so as word could not get back.
There is a subtext! ; A fretless guitar synthesizer couple go to Orcas, and they get in an argument after the dude synth flirts with a baloon. The balloon really has no shame at breaking up the union and callously trumpets her triumph all over the island. I still shed a tear for the lady synth's despondent resolve- lurking in the semi-tones reluctantly returning to the harsh realities of concert pitch- defeated in her selfless pan-harmonic love. It's sad AND beautiful.
