This album was a cassette tape that i used to sell on the sidewalks of everywhere I could be. I used to play on the street a lot, and did the restaurant/wedding/casuals, thing. I did a month long residency at the Fresno Art Museum, and got grants and stuff. I did not yet go by "Fresno" professionally, but had been dubbed "Brian Kenney Fresno" by 5 and 6 year old San Franciscan children right around this period.
I had no idea what I was doing, and was just learning how to play the instrument, not knowing much about, anything.
This material was all left behind decades ago, when I put on my Shroud Of Fresno- for kicking ass- as it did and does not reflect the future work AT ALL.
Bonghit Records was not at all interested in carrying over and supporting this legacy product that only undermined their catalog of Rock by BKF

There had been a turning of the page, from where I could play "nice" music any and everywhere while getting paid "nicely", to where I was going toe to toe with rock bands in smelly beerholes for some drink tickets and a ham sandwich, if i was lucky.
I do miss lunching with fashion models after watching them change in front of me, and stuff like that, but The Glory Of Fresno has far outshone the humble beginnings of that era and these recordings. A lot of people that enjoyed my earlier repertoire were dismayed at what I turned into, but the rewards have far far exceeded the gratification of being a background musician, not fulfilling my true potential.
So, if you are reading this as someone that only ever knew me playing backgroundy music, I encourage you to trust me, and follow the developments since then.
