Well it’s so nice that we could all be here
On such a glorious occasion
When we pay our respects in such reverent ways
With special containers
On this sacred day
I see that you like to use large plastic bags
Well I prefer to use those Heavy Metal cans
That sit there kinda crooked in a lopsided kinda way
Since their bottoms got smashed from being crashed to the ground
But whatever your position
What’s always met with such grim dismay
Is that sinking feeling of disappointment
When you remember that you forgot
Trash Day-Yeah that's me
runnin down the street
Clutchin cans in both hands with some zories on my feet
It should’nt be no big surprise
It’s the same day every week
But those trash eve celebrations leave me feelin kinda weak
parties in the street
Just think of all the contacts
And the people that you’ll meet
At such a wholesome activity
Trash Day
Call your friends and wake up the neighbors
So let’s dump it all in the ocean
create such a toxic potion

My patience getting kinda frayed

All my nerves so sharp and keen

Stayed up studying through the night
Then I stressed out to the first light

So I cleaned the closets, mowed the lawn.
Painted the house at the crack a dawn!
Cleaned the basement, washed the dog,
Got my spices catalogued,
Washed the dishes, washed the windows,
swept the driveway, took the trash out,
Changed the cat box, cleaned the toaster,
watched some daytime television,
swept the floor, shampooed the rug, I tell you caffeine’s my kind of drug!
