This song is part of the Southwest trilogy, along with "HUGE", and "Stoner Detectives". It was written before the X-Files did an episode on The Chupacabra- that happened to take place in FRESNO. I had already been "covering" the intro theme to the X-Files, as the intro to my song, and I remember being stunned watching that episode. It felt like a gift.
Or that they were indebted to me. This song features some of the sounds I developed when Applied Research and Technology gave me a sponsorship, and I really wanted to showcase all of the things that gear could do.

From the ruins of ancient south eastern Mexico
flew the hideous beast with one place left to go-Fresno
run out by a fast encroaching tourist industry
evil winged creature night surgeon hack bloodthirsty

Built just like a panther
hops like a kangaroo
once it sinks it's fangs into you there's nothing you can do
